Educational Philosophy

Effective teaching begins with relevant, objective-based lessons that address a variety of learning styles.

Experiential learning (e.g. exploratory stations, guest speakers, experiments) provide a concrete memory on which further learning can be most effectively built.

High expectations can be best met with encouragement, support, and guidance.

Classroom management is more effective when requirements for behavior are clear and consistent.  Further, a teacher that is actively mobile is more able to effectively curtail negative behaviors before they become disruptions.
